Pre-Start Meeting

Wow... 4 hours of my life was just spent. Now I have a headache! We arrived at Celebration Homes in Osborne Park at 1pm and met with our Pre-Start Construction Consultant, Vasa. She was lovely. We also had one of the Site Managers in training sit in on our meeting.

We went through page by page the contract and the plans, signing them and making sure everything was covered that we wanted. After this, we went into the Pre-Start room and started making decisions on what we wanted. It was hard! Some things we thought we'd decided on, now wasn't what we wanted! Vasa was very helpful though. She helped us choose a good colour scheme for our home externally (see below).

There was a few little hiccups here and there, but Vasa is going to sort them out and send through an updated Variation Form and Plans for us to sign in the coming week.

External paint colours to the rendering, feature wall and front doors.

Colourbond Roof colour to the left and Garage colour to the right. Cervantes Midland Bricks being used and the square pavers with a dark border.

Bathroom floor tiles and cabinet doors and bench to the bottom left. Feature Piano tile in both bathrooms. Carpet in all carpetted rooms with silver venetians. The large floor tile which will be tiled everywhere except for bathrooms and bedrooms and theatre, is at the top of the picture.

We paid a special promotional price to have Ceasar benchtops to our kitchen, but we could only select from the above. We chose Osprey. The kitchen splash back is a large rectangle ivory/white tile to go with the benchtop. The Cupboards are a laminex dark wood grain not pictured here.
