We checked out the block on Friday afternoon. Here's what we found! Can't wait to see the progress next week, hopefully we'll see some walls!

I thought I'd pop by the block today before taking a trip to Spud Shed. I wasn't expecting anything to be different, but to my delight there was!

Brickies starting soon!

Good news! Celebration Homes reckon that the bricks will arrive early next week and the brick layers soon after that. Very exciting.... so by next weekend there should be something different to see on the ol' slab! Whoo hoo!

The slab is down!!

Finally our slab is down, after 4 months of paperwork! Unfortunately Warren was away offshore, so I took heaps of photos. I took the Supra for a drive and on my way back home the back tyre blew out! So that was a bit of a downer to seeing the slab. Anyways, it will be good to see the slab together when Warren gets back home.

After a family lunch, we took our parents out to the block hoping for a slab. Buuuut Celebration Homes were at pre-slab stage. They had all the measurement ropes out and piping work had been done. My Dad reckons that by next weekend a slab will be down. 

Tomorrow Warren is going away on a one week job. So by the time he comes back, the slab will be there!
