A Roof for the Rain

Went by the house today and found the roof, downpipes and gutters have been erected. Looking very nice. The colour colourbond we chose is rather like a steel roof and should be very good for Summer and repelling the heat.... unfortunately our neighbours around us have got dark roofs.

On another note, some new shops have been erected on the other side of the Park Hive Shopping Centre AND the Coffee Shop has opened inside the Park Hive! AND it's gooood coffee!

Electrical

Went by the house today and the electricians were going at it hard. They said they would finish by the end of the day. So the roof will be up next week. No photos unfortunately.

The Roof, the Roof, the Roof is on fire!

A day before Warren leaves to go away for work we thought we'd check how the roof is progressing. To our delight it had just finished when we rocked up! The roof carpenter chatted to us for a few minutes and now we're thinking of getting some Anticon organised before they put the sheeting up (insulated blanket to go under the colourbond roof). The roof carpenter also said that the roofing should be finialised by the end of next week - good news!

Master Bedroom, Walk in Robe and Ensuite Bricked!

After having San Churros with one of my besties, I went and showed her the block and to my delight they had done more work since Friday! Our bedroom has started to take shape, we have now a definitve seperation between the walk in robe, ensuite, study and hall way! The front window is now in as well and looks really good. I'm glad we chose this front elevation. You can even make out in the front photo where the feature rendered wall is.

Garage and Store Built!

I visited the block after work yesterday and found that the Garage and Store had been bricked and the startings of the front of the house! Very exciting, I can't wait to walk through our bedroom, walk in robe, and ensuite. That is the only rooms that need bricking now.
